Redhead

As the weather was fine again this morning, I thought I'd go down a local park, which although relatively close, I seldom get round to visiting. Apart from the pleasant weather, the fact that there had been lots of reports of large numbers of goosander down there was also an attraction. It was well worth the visit, because there were not only the anticipated goosanders but also pied wagtails, songthrushes, coots, moorhens, Canada geese, black-headed gulls and mallards.
I had intended to head down to the river, but as it clouded over, I opted to do a few errands and return home for some lunch.
