Fred and Elsie

I finally got out today for a couple of hours as the wind died down and the sun came out; just a brief but welcome excursion into the city.
Fred and Elsie are the grinder and buffer respectively who adorn this feature clock in Orchard Square and they appear together practising their traditional steel making craft at quarter to, and on the hour.
