Get thee behind me .....

The Nikon D4 was announced today and apparently sold out on Amazon in one hour.

I'm not tempted by it (honestly) and, on the assumption that I will probably only invest in one more high-end camera, I will sit on my thumbs until such time as they release the D4X. More pixels and hopefully without a large part of the gubbins given over to video.

In the meantime, my beloved D3X and I will continue to pursue birds and occasionally capture one digitally.
