Especially For You

No it's not Groundhog Day!
One of our fellow blippers, ceridwen had asked what yesterday's image looked like, without the zoom.

Well here it is again, looking for its 15 minutes of fame.
It has no top or bottom, no front or back, no up or down. It's what ever way you want to look at it and you'll never see the same thing twice. (the 50 pence is just for scale)

The object to the right is another 'paperweight' I bought this at a charity auction about 20 yrs ago.
It contains a small section of the Virgin Atlantic Flyer, the hot-air balloon flown by Richard Branson (pre KBE) & adventurer Per Lindstrand which unfortunately failed it it's attemp to be the 1st to cross the Atlantic Ocean and crashed in rather spectacular fashion, nearly killing its occupants in the process!

I'm not sure exactly how many weights were made from the remnants of the balloon but I've never seen another and I have looked!

Again it's another curio and that's why I like it.
