Farewell tree

One of the best things about having a Christmas tree is burning it after Christmas... Lots of crackles, nice smell, big whooshing flames.. Not this tree, like everything else about it, it was just a bit rubbish. Possibly the worst real tree we have ever had. Still never mind it has gone now, all the needles that had fallen off (many, many, many) have been swept up and shoved into the bin. Apart from that excitement we've had the thrills of Cambridge on a Saturday, getting in early we thought we'd miss the hordes of folks..... We did for the first 30 minutes then it was MENTAL....Still we got the stuff we needed so mission accomplished...
