Birthday Gull

Today is Wife's birthday. Boy decided he wanted to exclusively start the day off for her at 4am. A couple of hours we were up and the Boy and I were off for a very, very good swim. In fact it was the first time he has participated happily in everything. I even think he enjoyed it.

After the swimming we headed for home to issue Wife her special day gifts which was almost too exciting for Girl and hopefully quite exciting for Wife.
We then headed down to the coffee van to get some sea air, and watch the birds.

Boy managed to drop off to sleep on the way back clasping his little toy donkey that he is calling DoDo. Once home we got ready for some visitors. Girl has been quite insistant that Wife has a party over the last few days so today a few friends came round. It was busy with a lot of little ones running around but a lot of fun with very nice cake.

A bit later on we realised that none of us had seen DoDo the donkey since the buggy sleep. It appears he went overboard somewhere between the beach and home. We searched about and then I scoured the streets but he did not turn up. I only hope he has been found and rehomed without a heavy load. Or maybe he is on a holiday to a far exotic place waiting to be packed safely back home. So hopefully a refreshed DoDo is on the way, lets hope it turns up before he is notably missed.

I really wanted to blip a picture of Wife, possibly with a previous blip that I had put on canvas as one of her gifts but the day has been so busy that it just didn't happen. I will have to try and catch of guard tomorrow.
