My Nero Hero

Sleeping and children do not go so well in my experience and being under the weather makes this even worse. That said today was Wife's birthday so there was no time for illness, it just had to be ignored (no easy feat for a chap).

After dropping the little ones at their allocated education areas we headed over to Chichester for the day, just Wife and I together. We were on the hunt for a certain thing, for a present for Wife, so the plan was shops and a nice lunch somewhere. We didn't find the certain present but did have a nice lunch followed by a coffee. It was lovely (even if I was feeling dreadful) and we even got to wear out posh coats for once.

Once the education collection was complete it was time to try and contain the madnessand excitement of more presents to be opened, which we almost managed.

It was really annoying to be ill on Wife's birthday as it really is a good excuse to treat her as she deserves. Hopefully soon we will have a celebration where we are all healthy so we can enjoy it properly.
