Beautiful World

The dog and I took a walk just as the sun was moving toward the horizon; that close to perfect time when the light is golden. There wasn't even a breathe of wind moving.

This was the first time I brought camera and dog on the same walk. About 10 minutes in, I perfected a drop and step on the leash technique, which allowed me to blip away without fighting to keep the camera still whilst she tugged to keep moving. She's a little dog, so my foot held her at wait just fine.

I was on a quest to find a big hornet's nest, which I had been given directions to. Twice, I have been given directions. Could I find it? Somewhere between, "there's a really cool hornet's nest you should go see" and directions, I obviously quit listening.

I did take some beautiful pictures and was once again in awe of the beautiful world we live in.
