Pelican Performance

Yay, I found more pelicans today. The chap on the right is seriously unimpressed by the arrival and/or conversation of the newcomer - hence the huge yawn. I love the way they think they fit on top of posts and street lights, and I guess so long as no-one tells them that they don't...

We drove down from Lake Entrance today (after a wee stop at a shoe shop for me to invest in some shoes). Instead of coming through Melbourne to Geelong we came via Sorrento and the car ferry to Queenscliff. Just because we could.

That way we stayed at the Queenscliff wharf to check out these Pelicans. It means that I won't whine at teacherlady to take me looking for pelicans tomorrow.

For her the trip is over, we are back at her house and she's starting to think about work on Thursday. I don't need to think like that just yet because I don't fly back to NZ until Wednesday night.
