bird of paradise

These flowers grow all over the place on Madeira, but these particular ones are in school grounds near where we are staying. It is closed of course, so I blipped through the fence. Nearly everything is closed today, but we did manage to find one place in the marina that served us some lunch :-] so we don't have to eat the emergency frozen stuff after all.
