Twelfth Night

It's always quite sad seeing the trees being flung out on Twelfth Night. It's slightly more sad seeing the ones that are flung out on Boxing Day or the 27th though, they seem to be really unappreciated and you wonder why the owners bothered getting them if they're going to chuck them out at the first opportunity.

By the way if, like me, you've been wondering why the Shakespeare play is called Twelfth Night you can wonder no longer. It was apparently written as a Twelfth Night entertainment for the end of the Christmas season. I probably knew this when I studied it at school but had forgotten the fact. It's one of my favourites though so I shall remember the fact now... hopefully!
