First light.
First chance to view the day when I drew back the curtains. The skyline is obscured by trees from downsatirs so this is the best place to see the moorland top.
An early start, various things to do. Checked marmalade, it's set, great! Sorted out some cupboards, must be the time of year.
The day improving and becoming rather lovely so far too nice to stay in. Left Mike knocking seven bells out of fencing posts which needed replacing, me and Bracken went a walk. Quite mild and the blue sky was a treat. Ended up back in the village and spotted an elderly neighbour in her garden so went in to her cottage for a cup of tea. Bracken always gets a biscuit before throwing herself on the rug in front of the fire.
A quiet night in I think, bit more work on the tapestry, glass of red on the side - should set me up nicely for tomorrow.
