The reluctant celebrity!

Spent the morning in Helmsley at the newly opened Oxfam shop as they are having staffing problems. I was amazed to see a tree in full blossom in the churchyard opposite. I took pictures but they somehow didn't reflect the main event of the day. My daughter Kathryn was coming up so I waited to see what materialised. It was late in the afternoon when we strolled round the garden looking desperately for today's blip and as you can see the light was fading fast. Kathryn like me is a bit of a softy with cats and dogs. Diesel is a great character though rather shy. He was in a particularly sociable mood and allowed Kathryn to stroke him and admire his feline charms. The difficulty was getting him to be still. I watched rather amused to see the antics of the blipper and the blipped.
