Expectations
When you take a picture of a sunset that is wonderful (see yesterdays blip) its easy to feel an expectation for another great shot. An expectation that most likely wont be met.
I often feel pressure of the expectations I think others have about me; saying, doing, wearing and thinking the right thing. But in reality those expectations are often self inflicted (for want of a better word). I have come to realise it is me who makes myself feel pressured.
Expectations aren't all bad though. Someone expecting you to achieve to a certain standard means that they believe in you; they think you have what it takes.
In life we are often told what we cant do; you aren't talented, you have the wrong attitude for that, you cant amount to anything. Thing is, putting limits on the belief you have in people does exactly that - it limits them.
Try hoping for the best in people's potential and they might just reach it.
