Arabian Reef Heron

Popped downstairs to look for a sunrise this morning but there was none! Just a thick mist.... no I hadn't woken up in England, it would seem that Bahrain is not exempt from mist!

Oh well wasn't going to rush home to a warm bed so spotted two 'Arabian Reef Herons'. I sat there on the shore for ages taking at least 130 photos of these two celebrities. What a glorious way to pass an early morning, sitting on a rock thinking about all those poor people in distant lands heading into work after a long Christmas break!

Eventually went home, back to a warm bed with computer, milo and rusks, to download my wonderful coup. Well all the wonderful photos were blurred!

My camera has been giving problems with focusing, it just locks in a blur so took it into the the agents later on and they informed me that my lense has been damaged - had I bumped it or perhaps dropped it? - who me? No I would never do a thing like that...well lets just say that when I get a new lens I'll definitely take better care of it, perhaps I've been a bit reckless, not realising that they're quite delicate.
