Bark

A colleague brought a most wonderful book in to the office today. It's called "Ecorces" (bark) and is basically a wonderfully scrummy book about the amazing colours and textures of tree bark around the world - some of the images are truly amazing - to see a sample check out that link.

Thus inspired I decided that tonight I would take a shot of the tree in the back garden. Of course it's well dark here now so I loaded the flash and when I got there I remembered that it's covered in ivy. Too late to wander around looking for another tree so here is my first stab at Ecorces. I'll be better prepared next time.......
