Went for a walk down the Leeds Liverpool canal. Not so unusual. It's something I do quite a lot of.

But today I walked along a stretch I had never walked along before, on the other side of town.

The scenery was not quite as picturesque here and that included debris and rubbish in the water, cigarette packets and empty beer cans along the tow path and a lot of evidence that a large number of (large?) dogs had also walked this way.

After a quick stop in the pub at the halfway point it was back along the same route, where there wasn't a lot of blipping going on, sadly. So it had to be this or a lonely young swan....
