The Garden Series.

Number 1 in this brand new series of "The Garden".

As you can see it's a very grey day, despite the sun trying to come through at different times.

A large part of the garden is laid out with low-maintenance evergreen shrubs for year-round interest, although there are quite a few perennials around the borders.

If there are any annuals then they will have been deposited by the birds! We shall have to wait to see what the spring brings on that score.

In the distance you can see the woods and to the far right in the woods, in a quiet and shady spot, is the resting place of our dear Fluffy, sister of Jakey. Fluffy was the deadliest of hunters and no small creature was ever really safe from her whilst she roamed the grounds!
