Red-crested Pochard

The day started dull and gray. In the morning there was a light drizzle for most of the time.
In the afternoon the weather improved. That means that the drizzle stopped.

Since I have an annual subscription the choice for the Zoo was quickly made. One can easely get there by public traffic and walking.

Behind the Rivièra hall is a big pond with all kind of water birds. One of the birds is the Red-crested Pochard. This duck is not living in captivity but staying here as a free bird ... ;)
