Spent the day in the city with Rodney. Ate at Lou Mitchell's. Viewed an apartment. Visited Reckless Records. Walked around in 99-degree heat and became a sweaty mess.

I'm not so much into politics, but so far Barack Obama looks good. I'm still keeping my mind open, though. I don't want to be a blind follower -- I want to know everything about each candidate before I make a firm decision. I keep meaning to read one of Obama's autobiographies. Does McCain have one, too?

When I was at my grandparents' house a couple weeks ago, my grandpa, who's a huge McCain supporter, made a good observation. When McCain was giving a speech on T.V., my grandpa pointed out that he did not once look at his notes (if he even had any). Later, Obama came on and my grandpa told me to count how many times Obama glanced at his notes while giving his speech. After observing Obama for five minutes, I have to say that I'm surprised that his neck isn't severely cramped by now.

Hmph, politics...
