Moon Chasers
You know how it is, the drive to work, when the big moon setting appears between two trees perfectly, but there's no place to pull over, then it shows up again, another nice composition, but you still can't pull over. You reach over and pick up your camera and prepare to pull over if another chance comes up. Sometimes it does, but sometimes you've gone up a hill or down a hill and now the angle's wrong or the height in the sky isn't as appealing.
This cat and mouse game I've played the last couple days with the moon, has moved along just about like that. The moment I first saw it in the distance, it was a fabulous display. By the time I was able to stop, it was a little low in comparison to the clouds, and didn't thrill me quite as much. This evening, when it was coming up again, it was so creamy looking, but I couldn't get a good shot of it. I am partial to silhouette's, however, so this is pleasant.
**Mother Comfort report~the old carpet has officially been pulled up, the floor cleaned and ready!! I met with she and the therapist today and we discussed going to a smaller venue, but still with supervision, as she becomes more active than she has been able to be between therapy sessions. This will get her more ready for when she goes home and also provide a fall back plan if going home ends up feeling too scarey. We didn't talk about the fall back part of it, but will let her know when she goes home that returning is an option if she needs it to be.
It all sounds great in theory. I'll let you know how reality plays out!
