It has been a fast, difficult, and messy couple of days for my work-a-day life. Some things, only faith can handle.

On a personal note, we visited some places where Mother Comfort can transition to home, and have chosen one that is peaceful and pleasant. The owners are delightful people. Mother Comfort is disappointed that she is leaving the rehab facility and not going directly home, but given that things are still in progress there, this will be a great chance for her to be more active in a home environment, while still having some help. Our hope is that she will relax and get some good rest, emerging stronger for it.
