Home again

Tui has been at the vet since Saturday. He had a blockage in his urethra, and had to have a bit of surgery, then he went into retention, and only today has he been allowed home.

Strict instructions for rest, and new diet. Rest in a house with a kitten-cat and 2 children?! Hard to achieve, so he's been shut in the spare bedroom, and is not best pleased about it.

I'm so pleased to have him home!! He's all punch drunk and stoned from the diazepam and other painkillers. He's sharing the love very liberally. One of the tablets they've given him apparently will stimulate diet...he was already like one of those Prada Willi kids, not what that cat needed!

First week of new job over (3 days a week is what makes my working week). I'm looking forward to what next week will bring!
