Light at the end of the tunnel.....

I managed for the first time in a long time to leave school while it was just about light. I got totally side-tracked on the way home by the beautiful sunset. I kept having to pull over to take pictures - fortunately no kids saw me otherwise they might have thought I was slightly bonkers. Unfortunately it was on my ipod but given it is meant to be nice and sunny tomorrow I will remember to take my camera with me.

I've had one of those days where I was so tired I was bordering on being sligthly hysterical and got incredibly giddy at lunch time. I work with a select bunch of people and we let off a bit of steam at lunch time to help cope with the stresses of our job - it's what definitely makes being at work worthwhile. But seeing this beautiful sunset tonight justconfirmed being a teacher is not the be all and end all and there is a bigger world out there that just occasionally I need to pay attention to!
