Kiwi Birds

This fella was sitting on a pole at the end of the jetty this morning. It didn't seem to bother about us much, it was too high for Ollie to even pretend he was interested, and allowed me to get relatively close for this shot.
I don't yet have a book on NZ birds but I think it is a Little Pied Shag.
I didn't put this as the title as (a) I'm not confident on my identification, and (b) I am sure it would have invited comments !
