Must Remember to.....?

Oh it was so pleasantly cold this morning. The chill nipped at my face as I was out walking. The air was so clean and fresh. The sky blue and clear. This is better January weather.

Spent most of the day chatting and walking and walking and chatting. Tomorrow promises playing with fire. What a wonderful week this has been.

On one of my walks I came across this rather large knot - one at each end of the rope which was strung across the entrance for the Giles Centre in Marchmont. I can't seem to source its origin or architect on-line. The Giles Centre has some church connection but being a heathen I know no more.

I did wonder though, what was it, do you think, that the architect was trying to remind himself to do? Clearly something very important given the size of the knot.
