Wintry Wonderland?

The weatherman had said we would awaken today to a wintry wonderland. Indeed! We woke up to winds howling out of control and windows that looked like someone had air-brushed white paint all over them!

The day continued nastily along, creating all kinds of ridges here and there. The net result is that while some areas look totally bare, others have several inches of snow.

We didn't bother to shovel much....the winds whipping about would have made a joke of any attempt we made to neatly pile snow out of our way!

The window feeder was very popular with the birdies today. They actually spent a considerable amount of time perched on limbs bouncing about like waves in the ocean! It is amazing such featherlight creatures can endure vast changes in temperature and conditions!
