The Stile

This stile is in a really picturesque setting I think and I should experiment more with this as subject matter in different light.

I'm gradually catching up with comments but still have many more of my favourite journals to visit - it's a busy weekend and so that's probably not possible until Monday.

Tonight I'm supporting a colleague, working on an event that's an 'In conversation with Guy Martin.' He is a photojournalist and you may recall national news in April of last year about documentary film maker Tim Hetherington and photographer Chris Hondros who were killed during an attack in Misrata, Libya during the Arab Spring. Guy is a part-time photography lecturer at our college and he was with the two but survived the attack - with serious injuries, however. He is making a recovery and tonight should be fascinating: there's also an exhibition of his photographs.
