Today's the day .............................. to watch the sun set

Drove down to South Wales today. It's a long drive - about 250 miles. You can either drive faster on the longer route down the motorways or you can do less miles by meandering down trunk roads through Wales. Today we chose the latter.

It was when we were somewhere south of Ludlow that the sunset began - and it just went on and on for about three-quarters of an hour. The colours in the sky got more and more vivid until everything looked as if it was on fire. It really took your breath away.

We were a bit pushed for time - so this is a bit of the sky from a moving car taken through the windscreen. Sorry, it was the best I could manage ......................?!
