Current & Ex-Mrs!

We had the in-laws over today to belatedly celebrate Christmas and the New Year. Not everyone was able to come. Several nieces, a nephew and a brother-in-law couldn't make it but it was lovely to see everyone.

This is a rare picture of me (in the pink) with the OM's ex-wife. As you can see we get on fine together!

We had a lovely day, it all went very well and we seemed to eat loads of food!



I've managed to let a couple of my blip friends know what happened to me last Tuesday when I commented on their blips but here's what happened for my subscribers.

The OM picked me up from the station and drove back to his house. I was going to drop him off and drive back to my house to feed the cats. I needed the loo so I pop in for no more than 2 minutes. In that 2 minutes I had a bag stolen from my car which contained my brand new Kindle (Christmas present from the OM), a pair of work shoes (M&S black leather size 4 and a half) and my camera. I found the bag discarded under a hedger further down the road later in the evening with just some odds and ends scattered around but the valuable contents were gone.

I've reported it to the Police and apparently there has been a spate of car thefts in our area. A gang is going around trying car doors on the off chance they're unlocked and nicking anything valuable. The Police know who they are but have yet to catch them in the act.

Unfortunately because my car was unlocked I can't claim for any of it on insurance so it may be a while before I replace things.
