A view from down below...

I was up Edinburgh castle on New years eve with a friend from the States...it goes without saying...it's simply the best view at the very heart of Edinburgh! its positioned atop the volcanic Castle Rock. Human habitation of the site is dated back as far as the 9th century BC!

This was the view coming back from a long day at the office...on a Sunday I hear you say?!

it was much rewarded, and with clear skies I knew I was in for a wicked sunset!
