A Day of Two Halves

Today was another fresh and bright day, so we headed out to find a soft play area for the kids to run around in. Well, we didn't think it would be a good idea to let Megan crawl around cold grass etc, so an indoor place was ideal for her. She found herself one of those play cars, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Oliver, meanwhile found a few 'mates' and had a good old kick around.

Two hours later and it was our turn for some exercise. After a quick pit stop at the Golden Arches, we drove down to a country park for a wee wander. Oliver enjoyed the adventure, and despite being tired, he didn't want to come home. Having said that, he was pleased to chill out in the car afterwards. Megan had the best view, being pushed around by me and Emma. We even had time for a quick family pose, before Megan demanded to be 'driven' again. She enjoys being in the pram, but doesn't like stopping. Then again, who does like being 'stuck in traffic'.

All in all, a well rounded family day. Good job as I'm off to Teesside for a few days hard graft. Hope everyone has had a nice Sunday!
