CrocusMan

Hardy!

Way back in November I blipped the first flower of the season on Cyclamen coum. Now the patch of cyclamen is flowering nicely after a mild spell. These cyclamen are really tough. A frost like this does them no lasting harm. In severe frost the plants appear to collapse, the 'sap' being with drawn from the stems. When the weather warms up the flowers and leaves soon recover.

I'll be happy for some more decent frosts to kill off the bugs that are able to breed in mild winters.
