THE WALL

So it turns out that the Barronco wall wasn't as scary as they had made out. Here's our guide Andrew - very mellow guy who walked happily along humming the same tune for the whole 7 days - it was actually quite soothing.

Our porters were carrying a good 25-30kg each either on their heads or shoulders. It was amazing to see that they did all of the walk in half the time it took us with our little backpacks! We loved our assistant guide (who looked like a shorter version of Chris Rock) - He would come every night and morning to bring us food - or should I say forcefeed us food as he exclaimed "you must use you appetite!" And that we did!!
