Waterfoot Sunrise

Rays of Sunshine

The wind was absolutely Baltic this morning as I stood near the water's edge waiting for the few rays of sunshine that had appeared to be at their best. Where we are in Waterfoot is fully exposed to south easterly winds, which are generally cold, but can be very cold or Baltic depending on the time of year.

The disrupted surface of the water in the middle of the shot is from a gust of wind, which was heading straight towards the camera. That reminds me, I must remember to give it a clean this evening.

Most of today has been spent getting the last of the fence posts into the ground and surrounding their bases with concrete. Hard work, but ideal for a cold day when you have to keep digging and shovelling to keep warm!

Apologies to Snapper and Furnacelass for following their excellent blips yesterday with more rays of sunlight - there simply wasn't much else of interest about toady I am afraid!
