Peace.
A clear-as-a-bell sunset tonight, looking west from one of the places I work. Just before I took the blip a squadron of jackdaws wheeled and dived their way high over the field - no doubt reaffirming their bonds before roosting in the giant oak tree right of shot.
The Corvids will have to wait their turn (believe me they will get it - I could spend a lifetime just watching them) and I'll talk about those beautiful old oak trees. These two have played host to *deep breath* buzzards, kestrels, sparrowhawks, herons, jackdaws, magpies, starlings, rooks, crows (unsure of the type), jackdaws and grey squirrels in the year I've been watching.
They've been around longer than I have and no doubt they be around after I'm gone. I hope so.
