Rochdale Olympic

This piece of public art, by Adrian Mokes, commemorates the Rochdale Olympic. That was not a multi-game festival but a sports car, designed by Richard Parker and manufactured in the town between 1959 and 1973. There are some examples still in existence and a Rochdale Owners Club.
