Roses aren't red

Finally made it out of the house to the supermarket. When having the usual glance at the flowers to see if there was anything interesting The Boy noticed these beautiful mottled roses that remind me of fire.

I've been lacking in inspiration for blips lately so had a hunt around the internet for some photographic challenges. Found a 30 day one which I was going to start today but I felt this rose was prettier than a self portrait of myself so maybe I'll start it tomorrow.
