#1 Self Portrait

I had planned I would get a great photo at the pub this evening so that I could start my challenge tomorrow. There's nothing like having to take a self portrait when you're not feeling very pretty. Unfortunately I got separated from my bag for most of the evening and was too engrossed in conversation with fellow Garden Sharers about the trials and tribulations of having a garden and keeping the pests at bay, to take any shots.

Took about 60 shots but wasn't happy with any of them. Self portraits are not easy, I couldn't be bothered setting the tripod up, the light was terrible and my arm just wasn't long enough. In the end, not happy with any of them, I decided to use a mirror, this meant I got good light, focus and best of all... my face didn't need to be on it.
