so when i got home and it dried, i saw that the colourist had managed to plonk a big unexplained lump of ginger on the crown of my head. fretted about it last night with lots of staring at the back of my head with the old two mirror trick. so after my 3 hour session yesterday was back in for an hour and a half today to get it fixed. job only partially done so will have to suffer with copper lump for a week and make sure i dont sit down when anyone is standing next to me. back on friday for the final attempt to shift it.

told the carpetbiters that i'll be going away in a couple of weeks. we were in the noodle bar. carpetbiter2 was more keen to get on with playing hangman (he uses words off the menu which can be a bit tricky to guess in a japanese restaurant). carpetbiter1 is a bit more thoughtful but is wondering whether she can squeeze a computer game out of me as a present...

us women folk did the riding lesson thing, leaving our men to do some grouting.

read somewhere today that the average person reads 300 books in their lifetime. doesnt seem very many to me. feel the need to go and read something quickly..
