carpetbiter1 wore a spectacular outfit for 'wear your own clothes day'. i was filled with maternal pride that she feels confident enough to wear exactly what she wants (black riding boots, 2 sorts-of-blue skirt, short sleeved grey shirt worn over long sleeved pink shirt, white tights and plaits). i have a knot in my stomach from hoping that her more streetwise friends won't question her choices.
