The odd curiosity shot

By Flipscokid

Digital overload?

Has printing photos died a death? I hope not. It does seem that way though.

Such a shame, downside of the digital era I suppose.

Having said that, the pros obviously outweigh the cons. I don't miss the days of dropping off the film, waiting what seemed like an eternity (24 hours if you paid through the nose) only to be disappointed with the result: a whole album of 'you've got your finger over the lens' shots. And, you only had 24 goes! Seems ludicrous now.

I love this little polaroid printer, the 2x3 inch photos it spits out are about the only ones I still print these days.

Pleasant day; children were lovely company.

Have a relaxing evening - it's nearly the weekend, hurrah!

P.S. If you're wondering what the significance of the photo is...yesterday's blip will explain!
