Habibi
Justin's and my dear friend Hasko drove through town today and I met him for lunch. I call him Habibi, a bit like beloved - which is not really culturally appropriate for a married woman to say... but we all think it is funny. It was like water to my soul to see him. The last few days have felt so difficult. Feeling a bit backed into a corner. We keep reminding ourselves that we're actually never trapped. There are ALWAYS options and there are ALWAYS ways out. Just because they are not easy or we don't LOVE them doesn't mean they are not options, therefore staying where you are is your choice, not a lack of options. Also biting my tongue from wanting to yell like a four year old "NOT FAIR!"
2 miles in the ditch. 1 on the road. Just a little way longer in the ditch, there is some lovely road ahead. I just know it.
