Allah okhtee
I have made a commitment in my life to view others with empathy and love, while serving them selflessly. Ultimately, I have made a decision to die to myself, in order to put others first. All of which stems from the example Christ left me. Whether you're Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, a meth addict, a white collar worker, a homeless person, or my coworker- you are ultimately my brother or sister and I will treat you as such. I believe what ties us together as humans runs deeper than just DNA, we are all of the same family. Hence the tattoo- God of my sister. This tattoo, in relation to the duplicate on Meagan's arm, is a physical representation of that commitment.
On a much lighter note, I am enjoying classes thus far, especially my Islamic history course. Its nice to be waking up early again, getting a vast amount of work done before noon, and even finishing the evening up my working at my job. Productivity all around! I am pursuing a more well rounded lifestyle physically, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. Already I have more peace in my life because of it. Still praying against those nightmares, and for healing to wash over my like water. I am moving forward with life, I am bearing fruit, I am growing in character and wisdom- alhmdallah.
