Today we packed and tried to keep Amelie awake so she would sleep on the plane on the way home...no such luck. She fell asleep about half an hour before Jan was due to come and take us to the airport. Nevermind! At least she was well rested for the flight.
When we finally got on board she picked out the safety card from the back of the seat and immediately said ''Where's the baby? Oh there it is'' which made me laugh as everytime we get on a plane we look at the card together and I always ask her where the baby is. Then she demanded her 'suit on' as last time I'd put on her fleecy suit for the journey too. We didn't have her suit but we did have pj's and slippers so got her changed.
The Trunki had its first proper journey! Its brilliant! I already love it. She is a little too small to push herself along all the way but she held my hand and Chris pulled her along and it meant we could check the buggy in so as not to be faffing at the gate. And you can fit loads inside too which is great for in flight entertainment!!!
