Trails

This morning the sun was bright and the new groomed trails were the kind we nordic x country people dream of. We arrived at this section of trails called Billy's Bridge at 10 before more than a handful had arrived, and they were as fresh as can be. This section is at the far north end and the loops wandering through these open flats framed by high mountains had us both just bowled over with the beauty. I don't know, I always simplistically wonder why all wars and differences can not be solved by the beauty of the natural world - if only people would stop to take it in.
