Old Money
Again, I forgot my camera when I went to something that I thought would be a good idea to blip. This afternoon I went and looked at some HUGE vintage units for sale, would have been great to blip (and just for my own records), but whatever. One of them was pretty creepy since some old lady had lived there and she had not redone the place literally since the early 1970s. Just to give you an idea of how big it was (other than 3500sq feet), it had 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a living room/library, dining room, kitchen, maids chambers, butlers pantry, vault, tons of closets including 'cedar' closest for your furs.
On the floor in the dining room there was a buzzer that people used to press to buzz the maid's quarters - it was just stuff you don't see anymore, especially not that size in Chicago. The building was co-op, not a condo, which was something I haven't seen here before, but it just seems different - not necessarily bad.
Short day at work, and then Chiara came over to play with her cat. You can see who is having more fun in the picture. Then we watched American Psycho - I didn't really get it and it was too gory for me.
