Welcome to Paradise

Home sweet home.

This is where I'll be living for the foreseeable future: a sustainable organic farm on the east coast of Hawaii, near Honokaa. This farm is getting back on its feet and there is much to do. In exchange for a few hours of work a day, I get a place to pitch my tent and all the local fresh food I can eat.

Once I arrived, it was straight to work in the coffee plantation, pulling weeds. I'm in love already!

Pictured is the coffee field--the red flags indicate coffee plants. They are quite young; they won't produce beans for another three years.
