Not boat work

The gov has a thing about drains.
She once cleaned out the bath plughole so vigorously that she pushed the waste pipe out of the fitting and next morning's shower flooded the downstairs loo through the ceiling.

She decided that this waste fitting was corroded (by the corrosive brew she puts down every week) so it had to be changed.

Guess what - getting to the bottom of the sink needed a cupboard dismantling and that disturbed the grouting in the tiles, the bottle trap took exception about being unscrewed and it leaked when it went back and the old push rod on the pop-up didn't fit the new waste.

I love these quick jobs......now where's the grout.
