After yesterday's rather frustrating day, obtaining today's contribution was wonderfully easy. I was cycling into Marchmont for an appointment with the hairdresser I've been using since my student days. My wife keeps asking why I don't find someone more local, but we have a good laugh and are on the same wavelength.
This girl was taking a cigarette break and I stopped to take her portrait. I was so worried about missing the moment that I totally forgot to take off my dorkey bike helmet with the DIY auxiliary LED torch. She somehow kept a straight face while I snapped away. Probably a bit naughty, but I asked her to puff away while posing, to add a bit of mystique/haze/pollution (take your pick) to the picture.
